Jonava Man Rūpi FAQ
1. What is Fix My Street? What is its purpose?
Man Rūpi is a web service made available to the public and the authorities to report incidents in public spaces. It is an aid to locating and describing problems and a tool that informs the public and the authorities at each key stage in the resolution of the incident.
2. Which incidents can I report?
An incident is a defect to the public space. The following types of incidents are covered:
- Abandoned vehicles
- Bus stops
- Clogged drain gates
- Illegal postings
- Littering
- Pavements, pedestrian and cycle paths
- Potholes
- Public car parks
- Streetlights
- Trees
- Other
Note:
- Issues related to national roads are not under the responsibility of the municipality. If you report an incident on a national road, it will be forwarded to the relevant national body. The municipality is not responsible for resolving such issues, as they fall outside its jurisdiction.
- Issues related to private spaces (e.g., private property, driveways, or privately owned infrastructure) are also not the responsibility of the municipality. These should be addressed directly by the property owner or relevant private entity.
3. Which elderships are involved?
Man Rūpi is an initiative of the Municipality of Jonava, in collaboration with the participating elderships.

4. Why has my incident not been published?
An incident may be invalidated by the site administrators if:
- the reported incident does not concern a problem that has to be rectified: you will be notified by the administrator that your incident has been invalidated.
- the incident has already been reported by someone else: you will be notified of the number of the reported incident so you can subscribe to it if you so wish.
- the incident concerns a problem outside of the scope of Man Rūpi: you will be notified and guided (where possible) to the correct authority.
5. Why have my pictures or comments not been published?
Pictures or comments may not be published if their content (pictures or comments) is abusive, illegal, or contains personal information. The site administrators reserve the right not to publish or to delete all reports or updates that they consider inappropriate. 6. The location of the incident on the map and the address proposed by Man Rūpi do not match.
In some cases, the address proposed by Man Rūpi and the location of the incident on the map do not match. Should this happen, please follow the indications below:
- Move the cursor on the map to the exact place where you located the incident.
- Ignore the address proposed by Man Rūpi.
- Enter the address of the incident in the “comment” field.
7. Who can see my personal details?
If you submit an incident, the web service will send your details as well as the details of the incident to the administrator in charge.
No personal information, apart from your chosen username, is displayed on the public site or disclosed to third parties, unless we are required to do so by law.
8. Protection of personal data
We guarantee the confidentiality of all information that is sent to us. In accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access your data, as well as the right to modify and delete such data.
The data received as part of a request for information are stored by the Lisbon Council, IPC-Résidence Palace, 155 rue de la Loi, 1040 Brussels, Belgium, as part of FUTURAL, a project funded under the Horizon Europe programme.
In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to consult and, if necessary, to correct or delete the data in question. To do so, contact the Lisbon Council via email: jon.switters@lisboncouncil.net

9. Will you send spam to my email address?
Your email address will solely be used by the authorities within the context of the incidents you have reported and subscribed to.
The mails you may receive include:
- notifications to stay up to date with an incident you have reported.
- notifications to stay up to date with an incident reported by another person and to which you have subscribed.
- messages from an administrator who wishes to inform you personally of the progress of an incident you have reported.
10. Who manages this site?
Man Rūpi is an initiative of the Municipality of Jonava in collaboration with the Lisbon Council, and other partners involved in FUTURAL, a project co-funded by the European Union.
The Website was developed and is maintained by the Lisbon Council.
The original idea was inspired by MySociety's FixMyStreet.
The project was implemented and adapted for the Municipality of Jonava by The Lisbon Council using the Open Source code of the MySociety’s FixMyStreet.
